Creative Director & Senior Graphic Designer with 15 years of experience across editorial design, digital content creation, newsroom production, and product/UI design. I have a proven ability to lead creative teams, build scalable design systems, and deliver high‑impact visual solutions under tight deadlines. My work spans major publishing houses in India and the Middle East, with a strong focus on brand consistency, storytelling, and cross‑functional collaboration.

Over the years, I’ve gained extensive hands‑on experience across layout design, page production, UX/UI, web and interactive design, social media creatives, infographics, motion graphics, and 3D design. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Communication and a Diploma in Digital Visual Media from the Institute of Multimedia Arts and Graphic Effects. I’m continually exploring new techniques and technologies to express ideas more effectively and elevate the creative process.

News design

Most of my career has been in the media industry, where I’ve worked across a wide range of news sections, including features, business, and sports. I have strong experience designing for broadsheets, tabloids, and magazines, and I always aim to balance editorial clarity with strong visual storytelling. I collaborate closely with editors and journalists to develop ideas and shape pages that communicate stories effectively and engage readers.

 

Social media

I support the social media team by creating visually strong graphics that help tell stories to a global audience. I design social cards for different platforms and stay updated on the latest changes in each platform’s layout, features, and content behaviour. This allows me to use those updates to our advantage and deliver fresher, more engaging storytelling experiences for users. I also create animations to capture attention and enhance the overall impact of the content.

 

Infographics and
Interactive designs

I’ve created print and digital infographics for sports, news, and business sections, and more recently expanded into interactive and animated graphics. Interactive infographics often contain deeper and more complex datasets, and the added interactivity allows users to explore the information on their own, making the storytelling more engaging and meaningful.

UI/UX

I apply design thinking to guide the development of products and services that respond directly to user needs. I have experience designing user workflows for websites and apps, and crafting thoughtful interactions that make digital experiences intuitive, efficient, and engaging.

 

Marketing

I’ve worked on numerous advertising campaigns with marketing teams to strengthen the brand across both print and digital platforms. This includes visualising concepts, creating mockups, and executing ads and branding assets. I also design call‑to‑action web pages and promotional creatives for sign‑ups and subscriptions, ensuring each piece aligns with the brand and drives user engagement.
